Alapaha (A-lap´a-ha) brood stock available.
With the utmost attention paid to our dogs,
we can proudly say, "We have the best
specimens of this rare breed in the world!”
No brag, just fact! Please, research before
buying! Most of the breeding programs with
Alapahas competing in shows and/or protection
competitions come from CRK stock or were
bred from two CRK dogs. You see our dogs
are supreme working dogs bred to be the
ultimate family companion.
The aim of our breeding program has always
been to maintain the vigor, courage and
determined character-istics of the original
Old Tymey Plantation Bulldog lineage using
only foundation Alapaha blood. Our goal
is to restore the diminished earlier type
bulldog similar to Papa
Buck Lane’s Otto IV and Chester’s
Black Jack; these past dogs were full
of agility, stamina and power. At CRK we
strive to maintain the traditional bulldog
characteristics while at the same time minimize
the variations in height and weight.
From a young age our dogs are taught basic
obedience that evolves into everything from
weight pulling to protection sports; such
as Street Ring, French Ring, Protection
Sports Association (PSA) and Schutzhund
(a German Police Dog Sport).
