The Breed History
The Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog’s origin is somewhat undocumented and unverifiable before 1979. Authorities differ so completely about the origin of the Alapaha that the name itself is in dispute. However, the Alapaha is one of the few breeds that are emblematic of this storied Nation and there is little doubt that a species resembling the Alapaha has existed for over two hundred years in the Southern enclaves.

Cattle Rustler Kennels History
I got my first Alapaha Blue-Blood Bulldog in April of 1989 from Mr. William Chester of Dublin, GA. I purchased Coleman’s Bramah Blu whose down from Siver Dollar stock in Chester’s BOSS × Waldron’s Ole Miss and I purchased Coleman’s Baby Blue two months later she's down from Chester’s BOSS × Carpenter’s Dutchess, a pure Old Southern White brood bitch I later purchased at the ripe age of 6 years as part of my foundation stock. Dutchess was an outstanding female, she was perfectly built, had a very good temperament and she produced some of the best Alapaha’s I've ever seen.
